"Cultural Agents" develop arts and interpretation in the service of human development. Through courses, workshops, conferences and publications, we refresh a millennial dedication of the humanities to personal and collective advancement. Artistic practices and interpretation have an urgent role today in promoting creative and critical thinking, known as 21st century skills, to guide decisions in the entire range of human activity, from civic culture to economic growth and public health. Our programs engage participants as artists, either through vanguard trial and error or through traditions. That is, we recognize all human beings as artists, because our innate creativity is a universal resource for addressing political, economic, and environmental challenges.
