Dublin Global Platform

In 2019, the European Commission is launching conferences on the future of heritage, meant as global problem solving platforms. These platforms will involve national governments, and their agencies, key global institutions, experts, and young global leaders.

The Dublin Global Conference will be the first of these conferences, and will focus on social innovation, looking in depth at the potential of cultural heritage for innovation. The three topics that will be looked at during a conference are: The revitalisation of rural communities, the crowdsourcing of smart solutions for societal challenges, and global peacemaking.

Prof. Doris Sommer, founder of Cultural Agents, will be one of the many attendees from around the world.

When: April 1, 2019

Where: National Concert Hall, Earlsfort Terrace, Dublin 2, Ireland
